INTROSPECTION - If you feel pissed off by words . . .

Always remember that the meaning of those words is NOT yours in the first place. It is also FOR you to make use of, by agreeing to the collective consensus, or... disregard as either nonsense or as being unimportant yet not to be repressed. Meaning is bondage. Slavery to the mind. If others agree to its misery, well, it's their own misery, not yours for the taking :)
