A Case of Suspected Gas Embolism (Incorrect DIV Ozone Injection)

A patient has posted in The Ozone Group on Facebook about his experience 14 months ago at a doctor’s office. He received 120 ml of oxyge/ozone gas intravenously. During the injection he lost consciousness for several minutes. A few days later he started developing troubling neurological symptoms like sleeping problems, sensation of his brain shutting down, feeling of fainting and being miserable 24/7.
He says he been living in hell every day since then. After talking to the patient, I realized that the nurse performed a number of mistakes:

- The injection was performed at break-neck speed of 120 ml within 1 to 2 minutes. A safe speed is anything between 1 to 6 ml / min. A full DIV injection of 60 ml can take between 10 and 15 minutes. He received double that amount within 1 to 2 minutes.

- The line of the butterfly needle was not purged from air. Instead of first flushing the line with oxygen/ozone and then injecting the needle into the vein, the opposite was done: First the needle was inserted into the vein, then the syringe was attached to it. This means that the line of the needle was most likely not purged from air.

- The patient only rested 15 instead of 30 minutes.

In spite of looking into it in detail, I have the feeling that there is something that doesn’t quite add up. The fact that he developed neurological symptoms several days after the injection, not immediately afterwards, is unusual in my opinion. If there is a neurologist in the audience, it would be interesting to hear if this can occur after a gas induced stroke or if there is another explanation for what occurred.

I have the feeling that maybe there was another factor at play, but so far could not specify it. I am sure that the loss of consciousness DURING the injection was due to a gas embolism. But whether the following neurological deficits were caused by it as well it not entirely clear to me, as yet.
