Bobber Fishing For King Salmon Epic King Salmon Bobber Down Action Skein & Beads Salmon Run 2022

In this Michigan river fishing video we are at salmon camp for 5 days of bobber fishing for king salmon with beads and skein and this was some of the highlights from that trip. Everybody knows skein is one of the absolute best baits for salmon fishing but beads can drive salmon wild as well. regardless of bait choice it is fun to see those king salmon bobber downs. It can also be easier to detect those light bites that can go un noticed.The king salmon ran early this year and were on the move until the water temps finally dropped enough for the fish to settle down and even then they weren't biting as well as they often do. King salmon aren't known for biting and many people believe they don't bite at all. The truth is salmon's bodies shut down and they lose their ability to feed at some point after they move into the river but fresh salmon DO bite and all salmon will have reaction strikes. The best way to get a bite is to use the one thing they like to eat in the river, eggs. Eggs and egg imitations will catch more salmon than anything else and beads are a fantastic subtle egg imitation that works. We were railing fish with bloop beads this fall 2022 king salmon season. The skein bite was really on at one point and I got loads of bobber downs and a few hookups as well as a bunch of popped skein bags.Show more
