Self-Introduction

Hello, this is Taga-Tokyo.

I started uploading videos in September 2022, hoping I would be able to share some parts of my life here in Tokyo. I have posted 3 videos already and I believe it’s time to introduce myself.

I’m a Filipino living in Tokyo, and I usually take videos of mundane things inside the house. I got the idea from other Japanese who post similar videos, while also making sure to maintain a level of privacy.

As much as possible, I would avoid posting faces, or any markers that would identify who I am or where exactly in Tokyo I am.

I would also make sure the videos are shot beautifully so I’m using a camera/lens I bought a few years ago. It’s an Olympus OM-D EM5 Mark II, using an M.Zuiko 55mm f1.8 prime lens.

I am also researching about other cameras, especially the ones that would be good for my use case … I am looking at the Canon EOS RP, but I want the Mark II version which is rumored for late 2022.

As for the audio, I wanted to keep the original audio as taken by the camera … some sort of ASMR. Personally when I want to relax, I would search YouTube for such videos, and play them in the background. Hopefully, I would be able to contribute similar videos.

I will be posting more videos in the future, and hopefully, you can feel relaxed watching my videos, no matter how mundane the topics may be. If you like these kind of videos, I certainly wouldn’t mind if you subscribe, and join me in this simple journey.
