A wonderful example provided to us by a very wise man who has spent considerable time and effort to recall precedents in law as well as handle himself so calmly in what would be quite a confrontational situation for many - the flashing lights have been programmed to elicit an instant stress response (there’s a lot of psychology behind all of this). Lots of nuggets of gold in this video clip, for those who don’t know, a “driver” deems you as a legal fiction whilst a “traveler” maintains your living status as a man or woman. Very amused by how evidently flustered the officer appeared despite trying to keep his cool whilst reciting the same useless phrase numerous times - yet not actually answering the question of where he derives his authority from.
