Breaking News: Ukraine goes on the attack and begins counteroffensive to retake Kherson. In the last 24 hours Ukraine has intensified artillery activity with howitzers, HIMARs and other weapons systems to soften targets and set the battlefield up for a start to a mounting offensive. Reports have come in as early as 3 hours ago from radio chatter and other news outlets that Ukraine has breached Russia's first line of defense in the Kherson region. Activity is picking up in other areas of the front as well.
