Hurricane Ian causes mass flooding and widespread destruction

People in Florida began dealing with the widespread devastation Thursday after Hurricane Ian slammed into the state’s southwestern coast. At least 15 deaths have been reported, and officials fear that number could be much higher. Ian was downgraded to a tropical storm as it moved east, but has been upgraded again to hurricane status now. The Carolinas are bracing for the storm’s wrath.
