🇩🇪 Wolfgang Grupp, the owner of one of Germany's largest textile companies Trigema, called for a "break with America" following the suspected terrorist attack on the Nord Stream pipelines, in an interview with BILD.
This comes as anti-American sentiment in the German-speaking world reached new highs in the last few days, with terms such as "sanktionen gegen die USA" ("sanctions against the USA") and "#Kriegserklärung" ("declaration of war") trending on Twitter, and calls to burn the American flag.
