"Don't auction on eBay in August, you'll never sell anything!" I ignore that well-meaning advice in this video, where I show the 20 items from my most recent flight of eBay auctions, and tell you how it worked out in the end!

This is a fun lot of varied items, and we talk about whether they sold, what they fetched and why! A Brown Derby cookbook, an Oz book and a neat 1913 Christmas book defy the notion that no one is reading in August, and sell over expectations...miniature cameras sell at buy-it-now prices instantly...there's definitely business to be had online in Summer!

We also show what didn't sell, and talk about what missed the mark with collectors and why. Surprisingly, the "in-season" things fare poorly, while...well, you'll see it soon enough!
