LAVA Map Update [Halo 5 Forge]
Hello Little Cobwebs!
I've gone through and added some "quality of life" changes to the map. They are as follows:
:BLUE BASE:
1) Script zones have been added to turn off the map's amber effects, once you walk into a confined space. But only areas not exposed to the sky or lava.
2) The vent at Blue base no longer requires the player to crouch before entering/leaving
3) More room has been added at ground level of the vent (near flag spawn)
4) At the back of Blue Base, the rock wall near the lava has been pushed back to provide more room and a construction light has been moved closer to that end.
5) The Control Room's lighting has been increased, 2 grenades added, & call-to-action light strips added to the stairs.
6) The railing at the control room's edge has been removed.
7) There is now a large light wall at the outer edge of the control room. While players can pass through it, the wall now provides visible cover.
8) The control room's outer man-cannon now has a more visible call-to-action indicator.
9) Ceiling lights inside of Blue base have been improved.
:YELLOW BASE:
10) There is now a yellow light strip across the inner ring of the garage area. This is to aid in navigation.
11) The Telepoter has been visually updated and pushed further into the wall.
12) There is now a small open gap on both sides of the bridge, near the teleporter. This gab can be clambered.
13) The pipe running up and along the wall is now clamberable.
:CENTRAL AREA:
14) The outer edges of the lava now contains a red light banner and half of it's blocker struts have been removed.
15) A light ribbon has been added around the upper platform. This is to provide a somewhat subtle call-to-action that the platform is accessible.
16) The lightning bolt has been removed.
17) The visible, but unaccessable Promethien grenade has been move between the crates and wall.
:RedBase:
18) More cover has been added to the from of the elevator.
19) The elevator is now accessible from both sides, near the back.
:Green Base:
20) There is now a call-to-action light strip for the stairs
21) The teleporter has been visually updated and pushed further into the wall.
LAVAL is a medium sized map that supports FFA, up to four teams, or 2 teams of 16 players. All of the major game-types are supported, including infection & CTF. Where I expect it to shine.
