American Energy Security: A Conversation with Senator Dan Sullivan
Today’s geopolitical events and the corresponding fragility of world energy markets are a stark reminder of the need for a coherent US energy security strategy. Crises in Europe and Asia have highlighted worldwide dependencies on fossil fuel supplies from anti-democratic nations, as well as America’s emerging dependence on China for the raw materials and manufactured products necessary for renewable products.
Please join Senator Dan Sullivan and Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Brigham McCown as they discuss the need for a clear and concise national energy policy that ensures an accessible, affordable, and reliable supply of domestic energy for the nation. Senator Sullivan previously served as a White House aide and director on the National Security Council staff during the George W. Bush administration; and as assistant secretary of state for economic, energy, and business affairs before serving as Alaska DNR commissioner and Alaska attorney general.
