Sunday’s Election Could Endanger Regional, U.S. Security

The Chinese Communist Party has made a cornerstone of its Unrestricted Warfare against the United States and what is left of the Free World its colonization of nations around the globe under the guise of the infrastructure buildout project Xi Jinping has dubbed the “Belt and Road Initiative.” With some 145 of the globe’s 193 nations now involved in one way or another, Beijing has put into place an array of strategically located ports, airfields, rail and road networks and access to resources and markets that facilitate China’s bid to exercise control over one region after another and ultimately to conduct power-projection from these colonial outposts.

One of the most ominous of these Chinese bids for hegemony is its longstanding effort to supplant the United States as the dominant power in the Western Hemisphere. The final nail in this coffin for America’s national security, economic interests and its eviscerated ability to control illegal immigration would be the loss of Brazil to indigenous and foreign Communists and other totalitarians.

The next Committee on the Present Danger: China “Unrestricted Warfare” webinar on Thursday, September 29 from 1:00-2:15 p.m. ET will assess: the prospects that Sunday’s election in Brazil will restore Marxist Lula da Silva to the presidency and complete his project, aided and abetted by the Chinese Communist Party, to extinguish pro-Western, freedom-loving governments in his own country and throughout Latin America; the predictable repercussions of such a “fundamental transformation” for the region and the United States; and what our country must do going forward to right the ship.
