26.09.22 - Over 800,000 people in Vietnam have already been evacuated ahead of the anticipated arrival of Typhoon Noru early on Wednesday, with a curfew imposed, schools closed and public events canceled.
Only those on official duty will be exempt from the curfew in Da Nang and Quang Nam provinces, which will be in effect starting Tuesday evening as maximum winds of 111 mph (180 kph) are expected.
At least eight people were killed by Noru in the Philippines on Sunday.
