Two Point Campus #24 - Pebberley Ruins #1 - Bones, Stones and a New Campus

Recapping the fully upgraded Fluffburough Campus to start, everything is at level 3, the teachers are quite high, Sims are rolling in, and I finally put down the Grand Fountain, a massive structure that fills much of any plot. Not much to say, the Campus speaks for itself.

On to Pebberley Ruins and a new course, Archeology!

I like how this one starts, and the concept of digging up things to either sell or place around your campus as items to make the place more attractive. No buildings are given when you purchase a plot, so the layout is entire up to us, the pre-requisites a given for this level to ease the player into the new Campus. Choosing all four clubs to start, it’s time to dig into this level.

Not much money to start, but we have enough experience under our belt to handle that, and it’s off to the races! Upgrading the Lecturn right away is a proven strategy that I’ve been doing the last few levels, and it works well here to get the newbies starting strong…or supposedly. It feels like grades for this level is my biggest obstacle to overcome, they have trouble from the beginning, and it the weakest people in the first year are gradually weeded out, even with Private Tutoring.

Year One closes out with a lot of money to play with, but it still feels like the First Star is further away than previous Campuses. It won’t be a deterrent however, we are determined enough to keep our head down and power through, witling away at those requirements one step at a time.
