Transgender seems to mean many things these days

It did seem at one time (less than ten years ago) transgender referred to people who felt they were born in the wrong body and needed a sex change.

From my understanding, in the UK you had to live so many years as the sex you felt you wanted to be, before you could proceed, plus interviews. As clearly not everyone was Transgender and the idea was to help prevent people making mistakes. Well this is what I presumed did happen.

The problem today is children who may be gay, lesbian or a tomboy, may be encouraged to believe they are transgender when they may not be. Indeed, many venerable children and adults may go on websites and be ‘groomed’ by those who have a fetish in ladyboys and so on to have such operations, in order to satisfy there sexual fantasies.

While some people are transgender one should be carful about vulnerable children.

One may too question if someone is truly transgender if they get a boob job, but keep the penis. Especially those who then make money from prostitution.

It should also ring alarm bells when a person has also been sexually abused as a child, them wants a sex change. One may consider that the person has mental health problems from the abuse.

Another thought is that many feminists do not want trans females (born male, now female) in female sports, on the basis they are better than females. One should note that the argument feminists used to make was females and males are as good as each other in sport and work and so should be paid the same. Now they seem to say women are not as good as men, in such a case, should women be paid less than men?

As for trans females (born male, now female) using female toilets. In an ideal world, trans females (born male, now female) would be fine to use female toilets. But many women do not want this to happen. Perhaps in time things will change, but perhaps those who are trans females (born male, now female) perhaps for the time being accept that some women are generally upset by this, and give way on this for the time being.

I often think if I was a child today, would some teacher push me to believe I was trans? I used to have long hair. In fact for a while I had a bob and people would call me miss. Unless the silly arses today, I never got upset because someone used the wrong pronounce.

However today, it does seem anyone who wants to claims to be trans. The meaning now seems to mean anything to anyone. A tool for some to bully others.

One thing that is interesting, is many of those who bang on about being trans and how they insist that there feelings are important, often seem not to care about other peoples feelings.
