Air Fryer Low Carb Cheese Burger Recipe: The BEST keto meal ever!

Enjoy this air fryer low carb cheese burger recipe that is perfect for someone on a low carb diet or keto diet. The trick to making a low carb keto friendly burger is to remove the bun and wrap it in lettuce, or as In-N-Out Burger calls it “Protein Style” The great thing about these air fryer cheeseburgers or burgers, is they are so easy to make and they only take 12 minutes!

You can also turn this cheeseburger recipe into a keto friendly low carb cheese burger bowl! Simply follow this cheeseburger recipe and instead of using a lettuce wrap, just place everything in a bowl and top with your favorite ingredients. I suggest black beans, mushrooms, sour cream, shredded cheese, grilled green peppers, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and spicy salsa.

CHEESEBURGER INGREDIENTS:
1 lb of Ground Beef (use 80/20 beef if you are on keto for higher fat content)
1 Head Iceberg Lettuce
1 Red Onion
1 Jalapeno
4 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tomato
American Cheese (can swap for: Cheddar, Blue, Swiss, Feta, or any you like)
Spices: Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder (you can season to your liking)
Optional: Add bacon, avocado, fried onion rings

DIRECTIONS:
1. Chop up red onion, jalapeno and garlic cloves
2. Place ground beef in a mixing bowl and mix in your chopped veggies
3. Mix spices in your ground beef and veggies (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder)
4. Form two burger patties.
5. Place cheese on one burger patty and cover with the second burger patty. Seal the edges.
4. Preheat Air Fryer 370 degrees 10 Minutes
5. Air Fry your cheese burgers 370 for 12 minutes. Flip Halfway!
6. Let burger patties rest for 3-5 minutes
7. Lay large pieces of iceberg lettuce out on a plate.
8. Place any burger sauces you want on your burger on top of the lettuce. (ketchup, mayo, garlic aioli, mustard, etc..)
9. Place cheese burger patty on top.
10. Add any toppings such as bacon, tomato, or avocado.
11. Wrap like a burrito
12. Enjoy
