The separation of good and evil

Here's our sermon for Sunday, September 25!
Today, we spoke of the separation of good and evil, in ourselves, in the nation and in history. Recognizing that the materialistic, God-denying ideology of communism lies at the root of evil in the last 100 years, we analyze modern culture and trends to see where God and Satan are focusing their efforts.
We are at the crossroads of good and evil. Our minds swing between Heavenly desire, for a God-centered family, nation and world, and evil desire, for materialistic, selfish pleasure and satisfaction. This struggle runs through all of society, from the individual all the way to the nation and world.
2000 years ago, Jesus came to champion the cause of goodness, and we killed him. 100 years ago, Reverend Sun Myung Moon was born to inherit the purpose and role of Christ, and he suffered rejection and persecution all his life. But the results of his victories are far-reaching and powerful: the end of communism as we knew it, the breakdown of walls through inter-racial, inter-cultural marriage, and the building of real dialogue between all world religions and beliefs in order to build one human family.
