⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎞 AFU Offensive in Kupyansk and Liman Directions Chronicle of Battles, September 28, 2022

▪️From a staging point on the right bank of the Oskil River, the Ukrainian command continues the offensive aimed at reaching Svatove and encircling Lyman.

▪️In the area of Dvorichna at the Lyman Pershyi — Tavilzhanka line, the adversary is still unsuccessfully attacking and trying to entrench itself on the outskirts of the localities.

▪️The AFU units managed to dislodge the Russian units from the area of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi and the industrial zone, and then to occupy Kivsharivka.

▪️In the Lyman direction, having occupied the villages of Katerynivka and Pisky-Radkivski, the AFU are expanding the staging point near Ridkodub.

▪️Ukrainian units attacked the village of Kolodyazi from three directions: the location neighbours the road from Svatove, which is now the only supply route for the Russian grouping in Lyman.

▪️West of Lyman, the AFU are attacking Shandryholove and Drobysheve from two directions.

▪️The AFU attempted to attack Lyman from the east from the direction of Dibrova with a company supported by armoured vehicles. Having lost 3 IFVs, 2 pickup trucks and a significant amount of manpower, the adversary retreated to their original positions.

▪️Daily attacks on the Russian Armed Forces positions by small groups from the direction of Ozerne and Shchurove continue so far without success.

▪️The AFU command moves reserves to the combat zone from the direction of Bohorodychne for a decisive assault on Drobysheve, Shandryholove, Yampil and Lyman. The large number of manpower allows the enemy to suffer heavy losses without reducing the onslaught on the Allied Forces' positions.
