Hello welcome to a new series, where I will be giving a highlight to Rock, metal
and alt friendly pubs & bars.

The focus will mostly be on the UK because I live there, but i will feature others outside the UK where I can.

I may reuse some old footage, to do a video on a the pub from my travels in the past, quality
of footage pending.

welcome to episode 1, valhalla York Pub.

This epic viking themed pub situated within the heart of the old area known as "the shambles" in the capital of Viking England, York.

valhalla has a rustic and historical feel, decorated to mimic the halls of valhalla itself, adorning its walls
with round shields, metal holding candle mimicking lights, and faux fur hides draped over its seats.

Vallhalla looks deceptivly small however it has 3 floors of this fantastic decoration, with the best being
on the 3rd floor featuring "The All Father Hall" that can be hired out for events and its long table
perfect for speaches and toasts to the Gods.

Metal and rock is the staple music selection in the bar and they sometimes hold live events.

it has a good selection of ale, mead, speclist beer and a great menu.

plus... the toilets are immaculate
