Conservative MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as the federal party holds its weekly caucus meeting. Nova Scotia MPs Rick Perkins (South Shore–St. Margarets) and Stephen Ellis (Cumberland–Colchester) comment on the federal response to Hurricane Fiona as recovery efforts continue in their province. Marilyn Gladu, Michael Barrett, Randy Hoback, and Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu also take questions on issues including COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the military, the Roxham Road border crossing, and an NDP bill that seeks to lower the voting age to 16.
