At a news conference in Ottawa, ministers provide an update on the federal response to Hurricane Fiona. The post-tropical storm, which made landfall in eastern Nova Scotia on the morning of September 24, brought damaging winds, flooding, and power outages to much of Atlantic Canada and parts of Quebec. In attendance at this news conference are ministers Dominic LeBlanc (intergovernmental affairs, infrastructure and communities), Anita Anand (defence), Sean Fraser (immigration), Lawrence MacAulay (veterans affairs), Diane Lebouthillier (national revenue), and Gudie Hutchings (rural economic development).
