"I think it’s fair to say that Joshua's Down syndrome diagnosis was a big shock for us and took some coping both during my pregnancy and after. BUT his diagnosis didn’t only affect him directly, or even his dad and I but It brought so much to the table for all of our extended family, his brother, any future siblings, and even friends. It’s given everyone who loves him extra love, acceptance, strength, patience, kindness, and immense joy. He’s enriched all of our lives in so many ways. 🧡"
