Psalm 139:23-24 King James Version
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
What an incredible day Ricky and I had today! Despite the late start, we took care of the fur babies at Petco, and really had a blast. I ask that you pray for Marisol in particular, Because I think she's having a skin problem that's causing her to itch, and she may have some scabs from scratching too hard. I could be wrong, but I noticed these very closely on her, so please keep her in prayer. I'm also praying for her, Judy, and Cortado to find a home, because they need to go home with nice humans! bottom line I praise God for today, and i am very grateful for what he is doing for us.
I really appreciated this morning’s passages of Scripture because I constantly need to ask God to examine my heart, and make sure that my heart is right with Him. I was especially challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional because I'll admit I struggle in this area. I'm constantly having to go before the Lord, and I want to make sure that my heart is always right before Him. What I'd like to do right now is share these questions with all of you, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them too.

Why is it important to take frequent inventory of your heart?

I was immediately reminded of these verses above, as well as Jeremiah 17:9-10, and how our hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked, and that we need the Lord to try the reigns of our heart, and to remove the wickedness from us. That we need to take constant and frequent inventory of our hearts, because only God knows what's in our hearts, but we also want to make sure that our hearts are right before Him. We want to make sure that we're not living religiosity, being blinded by legalism, trying to tell others how to live their lives, all the while hiding sin in our own hearts. We need to ask God every day, to do as the psalmist stated, and searching our hearts, trying us, and knowing our thoughts, to see if there's any wicked way in us, and to lead us in the way everlasting.

What I'd like to do with all of you right now, is share some thoughts I have on this through this vlog tonight, in hopes that you see how important it is to make sure that you were examining your hearts every day, so that whatever sinful thoughts and actions that are there can be exposed and removed. Come join me in this vlog and learn how to take that inventory of your heart! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it motivates you to examine your heart daily.

How can you seek God's help?

I want to challenge you tonight to carefully read these verses above, as well as Jeremiah 17:9-10, and ask God to examine your heart. Ask Him to not only examine every part of your heart but give Him complete and total access to the squalor of your heart and allow Him to remove whatever is causing the spiritual stench. Remember no amount of external religious activity or ritual can ever make you clean, but God is the only one that can transform your heart. I pray that you will allow him to uncover whatever is coming from your heart so that your words and actions will be aligned with God's desires, and the aroma of your life will please Him.

UNTIL THURSDAY EVERYONE:

HAVE A VERY PEACEFUL, SWEET, AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
