Harold Maldonado is running for county council, district 7, which encompasses the area from Damascus to Olney and the areas in between.

Harold is a first-generation Hispanic American who immigrated with his family from Bolivia in the 1980s. He’s a product of public school system. He’s the first member of his family to attend and get a college degree.

o He holds a degree in Economics from Catholic University and a master’s in economic development.
o He has over 25 years of professional experience in both public and private sectors doing economic and financial analysis.
o He currently works for FINRA, regulating the fixed income market for US Treasuries.
o He has worked for the Federal Government as an economic analyst informing US economic, financial, and trade policies abroad.
