Surgical piece down of an Empress Tree

Working alone means things take longer, and you have to find ways to do things that would be easier with a crew and trucks\cranes\buckets etc.

For this tree, getting down the limbs over the house and particularly the Coop below was the hard part. I opted rather than trying to rig and tie these (with nothing overhead to rig to) it would be best to pole saw the limbs using a basic peel cut, let them point down and then drop them straight down.

Due to the heat and experiencing some hand cramps after an hour with the pole saw I stopped once I had the branches over the coop and house safely down.

Next time up, likely tomorrow, I will remove the top now that its side loaded in the direction I want it to go.
