We look at the attempt by the former President of Nigeria, President Olusegun Obasanjo, to intervene in the leadership recruitment process of Nigeria.

Although he has stated that his intervention is informed by what he calls the 'national agenda', and that he has no favorite candidate, this channel is of the view that he may be working silently for the emergence of Mr. Peter Obi as the next President of Nigeria.
