We discuss the spectacular performances of Nigerian women whom I have labelled 'Golden Girls' at the recently concluded Commonwealth Championships that held in Birmingham, England.

Because of these performances, the ladies have done all Africans proud. So our people can walk tall!

Our view is that there are still hundreds of thousands of talents in Africa. All that is required is that these talents be discovered, nurtured and unleashed to compete at international events.
