Leaning Eastern White Pine : PT1 "Front Loading It"
11
Front loading this back-leaning pine (stripping all the weight off the backside) so I can ground fall it.
I'd top it and then ground fall the trunk but its the trunk that's leaning back hard towards the structure, so want to leave the crown weight in front to help guide it over. Still with this lean will take jacks to push this one over but important to remove any weight working against me first.
Heat got too me there at the end, very hot day or I'd have ground felled it same day. I'll be returning this week to put the rest down.
