Political Corruption: A non-partisan issue we can all recognize

In this episode, I pick on Nancy Pelosi as just ONE example of a long-term corrupt politician. She happens to be on the left side of the aisle, but I chose this topic to illustrate something we generally all KNOW exists but don't necessarily see in full view.

Why? I discuss a few possible explanations:
1. Tachychinine in our brains, fueled by social isolation and probably partly responsible for the increased polarization and aggression. I offer a theory on the role of this brain chemical in the resistance to seeing truths that may disparage someone on your preferred side of the political aisle.
2. The limited peppering of sound bytes and interviews most of us hear, which may limit our awareness of completely contradictory and hypocritical actions of our politicians.
3. The nature of the news cycle...by the time we may get an inkling that a politician is lying through their teeth or doing something shady, the "next thing" overtakes the news cycle and we move on.

Anyway, let's dive into Naughty Nancy.
