When you immerse yourself in a culture, that culture will start to change you in small and subtle ways.
For example, here in Belarus, appearance and presentation is very important.
I find that I am wearing better clothes and getting haircuts more regularly.
Oh and I also shave more often here as well.
These effects have slowly crept in during the previous 12 months.
Also, things can take longer here. Don't get me wrong, the government is way more efficient that in some other slavic countries but the language also slows things down too.
Thus I have slowly become more relaxed about things and less responsive to delays and so on.
