Accident or Sabotage? Is USA Behind the Nord Stream Gas Leak?

Gas is leaking from the two Russian Nord Stream pipelines. Nord Stream 1, which has been operational and critical to Europe’s energy security, and Nord Stream 2 which was Russia’s dream project.

Multiple leaks being discovered at the same time across two different pipelines – none of it looks natural. The USA has much to gain if energy lines between Russia and Europe were to be structurally damaged.

While Russia might definitely be trying to send a message to Europe, Washington has more of an incentive to tinker with the pipelines. Who do you think is behind the Nord Stream leaks?
