Darrell Brooks is accused of killing six and injuring 60 more when he careened through the Waukesha Holiday Parade on November 21, 2021 with his Ford Escape. Brooks was arrested near by with the damaged car. Brooks was charged with 77 felony counts.

Brooks' legal team had initially attempted to file a Not Guilty by Insanity Plea but it was withdrawn last week. This week, Brooks seeks to represent himself in a trial that is set to start October 3, 2022.
