We discuss getting to Americas Mailbox in Box Elder South Dakota and getting our 1 day citizenship that now makes us State Tax Free!

1) We 1st got our Post Mailbox (PMB) on the site a few months ago

2) We came up and got a hotel (only 1 night stay is required at ANY Hotel in SD, and put your PMB box in the address section of the hotel receipt, if possible)

3) Take your current license an d 2 of 3 additional forms of I.D. to the DMV in Box Elder
a) Social Security Card (original)
b) Passport
c) Birth Certificate

There is an Identogo office inside the DMV for hazmat fingerprints if needed, as well

Although the https://AmericasMailbox.com website states the Box Elder DMV needs and appointment, that was only during covid, so walk-ins are welcome again, and they were extremely fast.

Once in, you can make an appointment for another day if you need to come back for any reason, and it seemed like the openings for those appointments were much more available that their online system makes it appear.

They print your license out right there, so you leave with your real, actual license, not a paper copy like some states.

You can renew your license from that point on every 5 years, via the internet
