African Elephants

The African elephant is the world's largest land mammal, weighing up to 7 tons, reaching a shoulder height of 3.3 m, and a potential age of 70 years. Giant tusks of older bulls can weigh as much as 50 or 60 kilograms, although tusks weighing up to 90 kilograms have been documented.
