Hurricane Ian strikes Cuba, thousands evacuated

Cuba has been hit by the powerful Hurricane Ian, which lashed the island with a Category 3 storm. It especially affected the western region of Pinar del Rio, where the government estimates 50,000 people are being evacuated, many left without power. The hurricane could strengthen to a Category 4 storm as it aims for Florida now, forecasters say.
