Dog in Abandoned House Plays With Human While Getting Rescued

While going through a few abandon houses in the neighborhood, we noticed a whimpering coming from the kitchen. Somebody had left their dog when they abandoned the house. Once the dog realized we were friendly, he brought over one of his favorite toys, and oven mitt. While we contacted the local authorities, I played with the dog. He seem to be very ecstatic not to dehydrated or malnourished.
