70-year old Barnstaple Hornby train still runs.

I think it's amazing that there's old train still has life left in it I do have a controller that is meant to work with it is also quite old and a bit rattly. instead I had to use my gaugemaster controller which does make it run, not entirely sure how compatible the train and gaugemaster controller are are, but the trains back end where the motor is gets quite hot quite quickly, perhaps partly due to me turning the power up quite high just to get it to run at speed. I think it's being nice piece to sit on the shelf amongst all the other working trains but will not be run as often as the others.
