Police officers drove through neighborhoods of Bradenton, Florida – in the Tampa Bay area – on Tuesday, September 27, to alert residents of mandatory evacuation orders as Hurricane Ian approached the state.
Multiple counties across Florida have been placed under evacuation orders. During a press briefing on September 27, Gov. Ron DeSantis encouraged residents of those regions to evacuate and provided further information about resources available to them.
