Hide the Pride: Christian Parent Group Checks out Woke Books ... for reasons.

Hide the Pride is a Christian group that is checking out books about LGBTQ issues from libraries across the country. The Hide the Pride Christian Parent Group is an online community of members who want to keep their children from reading about gay and lesbian relationships, according to The Washington Post. The group was created in response to a book called "And Tango Makes Three," which tells the story of two male penguins who adopt a chick at a New York City zoo. It's one of the most popular children's books in America — it has been on the American Library Association's list of Most Challenged Books since its publication in 2005, according to The Post — and it's frequently hidden by parents who don't want their children exposed to alternative lifestyles. Hide the Pride encourages its members to check out these books from libraries so that kids can't access them. (Some members may even do so without actually reading them! Shocker ...)

"Please consider checking out [insert book here lol] when you can," reads one post on the group's Facebook page. "That way no child will be able to check it out."
