Old School: New Style Pass-A-Grille Beach Cottage Restoration

Taking the kids to school just got a lot better at this Pass-A-Grille Beach cottage! It was the original Pass-A-Grill Schoolhouse from 1912-1915! This cottage was completely renovated from the floor up, and a 2nd story addition was added. It is a new luxury house with a great history story. Flooring for the first level common area is a mix of Antique River-Recovered® Heart Pine Vertical, Select, and Character.

The restoration of the cottage was completed by Florencia Design Build from the Tampa and St. Petersburg area. The floor consist of 250 sq ft. of River-Recovered® Heart Pine Vertical, 250 sq ft. of River-Recovered® Heart Pine Select, and 100 sq ft. of River-Recovered® Heart Pine Character. The flooring flows seamlessly with the remaining original Heart Pine floors in the bedroom. The project also called for nine Heart Pine stair treads and trim.
