A terrorist attack at a polling station was prevented in Mariupol.

This was reported to RT in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR. A 24-year-old saboteur was noticed today by a local driver when she pulled an object out of a bag, put it in a flower bed and left on a bicycle.

The man contacted the police. It turned out that the girl left an IED of almost 1 kg of plastid with a detonator and striking elements. The security forces took the explosives to a safe distance.

Later, the girl, whose name is Irina Navalna, was detained. It turned out that in May she left for the territory controlled by Ukraine, and in August, when she decided to return to pick up things, she was recruited.

According to Irina, she was let through at the border on the condition that she would take an explosive device in the city, plant it and activate it. For this, the girl was immediately given 30 thousand hryvnias and promised another 70 thousand hryvnias.

The DPR Interior Ministry detained the girl when she was about to press the detonator. "Yes, I was aware [that this would lead to casualties]. I have problems with empathy," Irina said during the interrogation.
