Prime Minister Modi's speech in the meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Japan H.E. Mr. Fumio Kishida. The Prime Minister expressed his deepest condolences on the death of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The Prime Minister noted the late Prime Minister Abe's contribution to strengthening the India-Japan partnership and conceptualizing the vision of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
The two leaders had a fruitful discussion on further deepening of bilateral relations. Several regional and global issues were also discussed. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen India-Japan's special strategic and global partnership and cooperation in the region and in vainternational groups and institutions.
