NASA, the asteroid hit: the mission filmed by an Italian satellite

The Dart space probe has hit an asteroid: it will take weeks to understand if the probe has deviated the path of the celestial body
"We are entering a new era, an era in which we potentially have the ability to protect ourselves from something like a dangerous impact from a dangerous asteroid." This was stated by Lori Glaze, director of NASA's division of planetary sciences after the impact between the Dart probe and the asteroid Dimorphos diverted its trajectory.
