⚡️Is Russian gas to Europe done? One by one, the Nord Stream-2 and Nord Stream-1 gas pipelines were put out of operation. The destruction is unprecedented and will not be restored soon, which is beneficial to the United States.

First, the pressure in one of the two threads of the NS-2 dropped sharply. A representative of the operator said that a hole appeared in the pipe near the Danish island of Bornholm. Then the pressure dropped on the NS-1 in two threads (out of two). There have also been leaks . Since the pipes are unique, repairs can take a long time.

Gas pipeline capacities:
NS-2: 55 billion cubic meters (not commissioned);
NS-1: 55 billion cubic meters.

What happened benefits the United States:
• creates a long-term market for LNG from the USA
• reduces the motivation of the EU (and above all Germany) to make peace (separately) with Russia in winter: even in the bitter cold, they will not receive Russian gas now. All other flows go through problematic Poland and Ukraine (see the picture).
