The Lord desires that His people walk in humility that is expressed in many ways such as having a servant spirit, refusing to draw undo attention to ourselves, trusting the Lord to vindicate us when we are mistreated or falsely accused, bearing reproach for standing for the truth, etc.

The Spirit releases power to exalt Jesus and not to draw attention to those that He uses (Jn. 16:14).
