Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Moscow on Monday, Belarus state media reported. Russia earlier used bases in Belarus to stage troops, aircraft and equipment during the invasion of Ukraine. However, Lukashenko congratulated Ukraine on its 31st Independence Day, saying "today's contradictions should not destroy long-term neighbourly ties".
