Leopard mating Some animals are especially difficult to breed offspring, and the mating process is full of violence and pain, but they have to mate together for a week to improve the female's pregnancy rate. This animal is the African leopard. The oestrus period of African leopards is the transition period between winter and spring. After about 100 days of pregnancy, two to four cubs can be born from March to April. By the time the female leopard next oestrus, the cubs will live with the female leopard.
