In My Personal Experience ...

MY EXPERIENCE is that if you never go to the doctor AND you make positive, persistent and determined efforts to learn about self care, you put yourself on a path of ever-increasing self-reliance, not to mention ever-increasing expertise in the area of self-care.

It's sort of like a stairway to Heaven, where is scary and tiring at first but after a while it becomes fascinating, fun and exhilarating.

If you go to the doctor regularly, you put yourself on a path of ever-increasing depency, not to mention incompetence in the area of self-care.

It's sort of like an increasingly depressing, descent to ... you know where.

The former leads to mastery, empowerment, and vibrancy of life.

The latter leads to incompetence, whatever the opposite of empowerment is and energetic languish.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ALL TRUE **WITHOUT** ANY CONSIDERATION BEING GIVEN to the possibility that the Medical Industrial Complex may be actively and intentionally engineering dependency, strategic harm and "side effects" into their care models, in the interest of their revenue, profits and ideological goals (i.e., widespread dependency, sickness and even depopulation).

Indeed, MANY people believe that that preceding paragraph expresses a truth that should be regarded as a forgone conclusion. Among this large group of people are many doctors and researchers.

TO BE SURE, based upon my own personal experience - not just for myself, but for my entire family of 6 from decades ago when my family was comprised of small children - I am one of the people for whom this forgone conclusion applies.

IT IS ALSO MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE that mastering self-care will eventually lead a person to the place where they are confident that they themselves can do at least ten times better work caring for themselves, in the very vast majority of cases of needed medical care, than the professionals can. Imagine, then, if one assumes this to be true, the implications and benefits of being surrounded by a community of people who have themselves mastered self-care as well.
