Major changes to the Amex Marriott cards

American Express just revamped the Brilliant card and released a new Marriott cobranded card called the Bevy

The Brilliant has a whopping $650 annual fee but offers automatic Platinum Elite Status, a free night award after the first year of card membership, $300 in dining credits, along with 25 elite night credits that can help earn even higher status

The Bevy has a higher than expected $250 annual fee but offers automatic gold elite status and you can earn a free night award after you spend $15,000 on the card in a calendar year….

In my opinion these cards aren’t worth the crazy expensive price tags and there are plenty of better options out there
