Using the intelligence and on tip-off by NATO, Kherson hotel attacked, two people were killed.

Ex-deputy Zhuravko died at the Play Hotel and journalists miraculously escaped.

The Ukrainian military attacked a hotel in the center of Kherson using the intelligence and on tip-off by NATO representatives, a source in the region’s law enforcement said on Sunday.

"The hotel was attacked clearly with the help of NATO representatives, using their intelligence and on their tip-off," he said. The administration of the Kherson Region called the hotel attack Ukraine’s planned terrorist act. "The missile attack on the hotel is a planned terrorist act," the administration said in a statement.

Media representatives were at the hotel in the center of Kherson attacked by the Ukrainian armed forces early in the morning, the administration of the Kherson Region said in a statement on Sunday. "The administration of the Kherson Region reports that today at around 5:30 am the Ukrainian armed forces carried out a missile strike at the building of Play Hotel by Ribas, in which there were media representatives," according to the statement released by the administration via its Telegram channel.

As a result of the attack, according to preliminary data, two people were killed, among them Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) member of the "Party of Regions" and a disabled person from birth, Alexey Zhuravko, according to confirmed information. All casualties have been taken to Kherson hospitals.

Утром, когда группа российских репортеров собиралась на выезд в прифронтовые Александровку и Снигири, кто-то принес известие, что еще затемно был прилет в гостинцу Play.

Первоначальная информация, что кто-то из них оказался под завалами, впоследствии, к сожалению, подтвердилась. Но уже через пару часов мы выдохнули - никто не пострадал.

Оператора хоть и завалило, но он смог выбраться. #кадры его чудесного #спасения появились в телеграме.

Позже уже в полном составе #журналист приняли участие в первых попытках найти людей под завалами.

Но без жертв, увы, не обошлось. По имевшийся днем информации, при обстреле погибло два человека – бывший депутат Верховной Рады двух созывов Алексей Журавко, член «Партии регионов» и #инвалид от #рождения, и его охранник.
